As part of the InnoFaith Engineering senior staff and as a professional specialist (1) contribute to the implementation design of requirements and the creation of the software architecture of our SyltonConnect eco-system; our global skin diagnostics platform. Consulting (2) the Engineering Leadership with in-depth technological and system performance perspectives and lead the process to improve the ultimate user and engineer experience we are delivering through our focus on innovation and quality in our product development and (3) Perform based on your full understanding and transcending the software engineer profession.

With your eye for the optimum between the required implementation time, the performance of the application and a fast go-to-market, you guide our staff developers to deliver on the architecture objectives. These architecture objectives you have set out with the software architect and are in line with our automated test and release pipelines.

Together with the (senior) staff developers you discuss and develop the architecture of the applications and advise the Product Owner on necessary refactoring to improve the quality and maintainability of the software.

You certainly are not afraid to substantiate and make choices that in the long run will lead to improvements.

Our development team consists of developers with different expertise’s. We expect you to be the professional coach on the job that communicates and makes his analytical skills available to the staff developers.

As we work hybrid, we are not in the office every day. But you help to coordinate our staff to meet as a team and as individuals on a daily bases. On average we meet in person two days a week in the office.

Specific areas of expertise include:

1. C++20
2. Leading a team of staff engineers
3. Coordinating deployment of our strategic engineering partnership in Poland
4. Design & documentation of software architecture
5. JavaScript & WebDev

Other job criteria:

• BA/MA in relevant discipline, ie. Computer Science
• At least 5 year+ work experience in a comparable or relevant position
• Considerd as an advantage:
  • Experience with WebAssembler
  • Knowledge of developments methods such as Agile and Scrum
  • Experience in collagorating and managing external developers or collagorating with other software development companies
  • Experience with AWS is and advantage
  • Experience with iOS app development is and advantage
  • You have some experience with software optimization and algorithms
• Understands the importance of Information Security awareness and the application of Security Roles Policies and authorizations
